Obrazki Hugo Jaegera[edit]
Witam. Pibwl 18:14, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:MariaJózefaSaska.JPG. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find all your uploads using the Gallery tool. Thank you. Coats of arms[edit]
Please provide proof that Tadeusz Gajl, the author of Image:Herb Lis1.jpg (original at Wiki - [1]) or Image:Herb Gryf1.jpg ([2]) agreed to release his coats of arms under GFDL? The licensing he agreed upon is this: Template:Polish coats of arms by Tadeusz Gajl. American Gothic[edit]
American Gothic is a famous painting by Grant Wood. Since he died in 1942, he never had the opportunity to license this or any other of his works under GFDL. However, his works are still protected by copyright so I took the liberty of deleting this image.
You seem to have a problem understanding the concept of copyright. If you claim that an image is released under a free image, you must explain why you think so. So far, you have ignored questions about sources for the images you upload.
If you continue to be careless, you may be blocked from using WikiCommons in the future. Thuresson 17:59, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- You have not credited the author of Image:Herb Leszczyc.jpg which is a requirment of the GFDL license. Not giving credit to the author is a copyright violation. I will personally block a user who continues to violate the terms of the copyright. Thuresson 10:58, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

While I appreciate your activities in sharing Poland-related images, the fact is that by ignoring our policies you are ensuring that the images will be deleted - so you are wasting both your time and ours (because we have to clean up the mess). Please, use NowCommons templates and post information about the source and author of the images you are uploading. Also w:Portal:Poland/New_article_announcements has an image section where you should post all Poland-related image changes: many other users would like to know what new images are available for use in various articles.--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus Talk 20:05, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
Image:France1.JPG[edit]
Once again you do not explain your sources or credit the copyright owner. This particular image was designed by Hardouin but you can not be bothered to credit other people for their work. The GFDL license requires you to give credit and if you continue not to abide by copyright you will be blocked from using WikiCommons. Thuresson 12:59, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Podawanie autora i źródła[edit]
English translation of this comment available at request. Halibutt 19:25, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- Nad resztą jeszcze pomyślę i dam znać.
Halibutt 07:02, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Halibutt 16:42, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Halibutt 18:37, 30 June 2006 (UTC)
A Irpy kasujemy, bo to czystej wody plagiat i kradzież. Halibutt 10:16, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
Halibutt 01:53, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:Henricus.jpg[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:Henricus.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. Image deletion warning | Image:Urban7.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file. |

Flaga[edit]
Witam. Pozdrawiam. -- Bastian 19:25, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:Herb Prus.jpg[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:Herb Prus.jpg. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|cc-by-sa-2.5}} to release it under the Creative Commons or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
Thank you. Grafiki[edit]
Szwedzki 19:10, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- To przy okazji dobrze by było gdybyś do opisów obrazów dodał, gdzie dany obraz się znajduje, bo bez tego są mało użyteczne, jak sądzę część tych zdjęć robiłeś sam, więc nie powinno byc problemu (np. przy grafice Image:Agaton Giller.JPG napisałeś image taken by User:Mathiasrex). A jeśli to skany z książek, to miejsce przechowywania oryginału też być powinno podane. Dziękuję, Cancre 19:33, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
- O Twojej znajomości polityki commons świadczą 52 wpisy w Twojej dyskusji. O interwencję poprosili mnie m.in.
Image:Herb Godziemba.PNG[edit]
Hi, the following message was posted to my talk page at en.wikipedia regarding the image you uploaded:
- The coat of arms en:Godzamba is with gold tree. You added picture with "natural color" tree. It is not the same coat of arms!
- The proper version Godzamba coat of arms: http://www.akromer.republika.pl/godziemba.gif
- Even if it belongs to the same clan. Members of a clan can differ with their coats of arms from other coats of armes of other members of the clan. To use an unproper version of coat of arms by noble family is a violation according to paper by Artur Ornatowski [[7]].
- with regards, Pan Piotr Glownia 01:10, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
If this is correct, I'd be happy to address that users concern by editing Image:Herb Godziemba.PNG to include the tree from godziemba.gif. ˉanetode╦╩ 02:26, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
Godzamba coat of arms[edit]
Pan Piotr Glownia posted again:
- Proper Godziemba coat of arms is the natural brown color pine tree. Picture: commons:Image:Herb Godziemba.PNG
- Proper Godzyamba coat of arms is the gold color pine tree. Picture: http://www.akromer.republika.pl/godziemba.gif
- In the Western Europe the same coat of arms could differ amongst members of the same noble family. In Poland the same (or almost the same) coat of arms could differ amongst families of the same noble clan. Also in the Western Europe special marks and signs were used on coats of arms to precise the type of individual owner. In Poland however these differences adress issues of how the particular Polish noble family came into ownership of their clan's coat of arms and terms on which they are entitled to it.
- As it apears using unproper version of the coat of arms by a family is seen as violation (a false claim, which is done by a pretender). If it is done by other peoples, then it is usually judged as lack of knowledge on the subject, as it is stated in Polish language at: [[8]]. Artur Ornatowski is some kind of expert in this area of knowledge in Poland and you can contact him [[9]] for the medieval source materials he used to come to this conclusion.
- If one would add Godzyamba coat of arms to Godziemba coat of arms (as I did already in Polish version), then one had to put references that this version called Godzamba/Godzyamba specifically belongs to Glownia family. The already listed definition of the pine in Godziemba coat of arms refers to brown/natural pine and it is not description for Godzyamba coat of arms, in which version the pine is actually gold.
- Also worth of notice is that Godziemba coat of arms is coat of arms of Polish nobility pl:herb szlachecki, when Godzyamba coat of arms before becaming Polish nobility's coat of arms was also knightly "ARMA BARONUM REGNI POLONIE" [[10]] coat of arms.

Prawa autorskie do obrazów[edit]
Pozdrawiam!
A.J. 18:19, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Pozdrawiam!
A.J. 21:00, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Pozdrawiam!
A.J. 07:22, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Zgodnie z Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag można dodawać do tagu PD-old dodatkowo zastrzeżenie o własnych prawach... A.J. 11:12, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|cc-by-sa-2.5}} to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
Thank you. Mariakasimira1641-2.jpg[edit]
Article Maria Kazimiera Sobieska. There must be a painter who painted the portrait and as well a place where there painting is kept. You can add to the quality of Wikipedia avoiding paintings and drawings without sources and descriptions. It is also of vivid interest for the users of Wikipedia, their information must be our main target. Please remember, an encyclopedia is a scientific project. Gerhard51 20:52, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
PNG a JPG[edit]
A.J. 12:47, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Image:KSołtyk.jpg[edit]
Image deletion warning | Image:KSołtyk.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. |

Hello, and thank your for sharing your files with Commons. There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. Please remember that all uploads require source, author and license information. Could you please resolve these problems, which are described on the page linked in above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which information may be missing. Thank you. Siebrand 00:30, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

Picasa[edit]
Ogólnie więc obowiązują zasady jak w przypadku innych źródeł tzn. trzeba uzyskać zgodę autora i przesłać ją do OTRS (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). A.J. 10:04, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:Ludwig_IX_von_Hessen-Darmstadt.JPG[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:Ludwig_IX_von_Hessen-Darmstadt.JPG. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multilicense GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. Image:Battle of Iganie 1831.JPG[edit]
There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Hi The British 60-pounder canon. I am trying to develop a register of all surviving examples of this canon. Can you assist me ? Where in Poland is the gun you photographed located ? The Co-ordinates from Google Earth are the easiest way to describe the location. Do you have any details from the canon's ID plates ? Year of maunfacture Maker Serial number
Also do you have any other photos of the gun? Thank-you Ross Torrington Sydney Austalia--Chase Museum (talk) 11:16, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
